👩🏻💻Hi, I'm Savani (saa-vuh-nee), a multi-disciplinary Product Designer and a recent graduate from Carnegie Mellon's Master’s program in Human-Computer Interaction. With a strong foundation in Computer Science and a flair for transforming complex problems into user-centered solutions, I thrive on creating intuitive experiences that not only delight users but also drive business success.
🚀A recent highlight? I collaborated with the US Army’s Aerial and Field Services Department, where we designed innovative human-machine teaming solutions to increase the efficiency of their manual parachute packing process by 30% and significantly improved ergonomics. MHCI Capstone 2024 | Aerial Delivery & Field Services Department (US Army) • Automated quality assurance processes by engineering an ecosystem of RFID, computer vision, and IoT, resulting in improved operational efficiency and an estimated 10% reduction in overall shift time. • Spearheaded design of interactive dashboard to display packer performance metrics, providing data-driven insights estimated to improve inspector response time and foster healthy competition among packers. • Conducted on-site contextual inquiry and usability testing with 20+ packers, uncovering critical inefficiencies in packing process; designed human-centric solutions leading to reduction in injuries among personnel.

• Led end-to-end design process of a QR payment web app, including developing information architecture, creating comprehensive user flows, and designing digital prototypes. • Conducted heuristic evaluation and SWOT analysis of 4 QR payment products to analyze industry best practices and pain points. • Collaborated with lead designer to develop a cohesive style guide including typography, color themes and components to standardize design patterns for web app. • Drafted a detailed design handoff for engineering team to streamline development process.
