In My Own Words

Outdoor retail entrepreneur, designing, marketing, and selling trail apparel and gear. My for-profit business funds our partner non-profit programs which serve to to encourage and support confidence, independence, outdoor skills & exploration, and athletics in local youth and beyond.

I'm passionate about creating and growing businesses and activities that make a positive impact on others' lives. When I'm not working, I'm usually out running or hiking the trails with my dog, Auggie, and occasionally convincing my 2 kiddos to step away from their many other sports endeavors to join me in the woods. I thrive on group and solo adventures, exploring trails and mountains, swimming in alpine lakes, and navigating a huge variety of challenges in both life and the outdoors.

Projects

ReVibe Wild Runners

https://www.revibewildrunners.org

Built and launched a free ongoing program for kids between the ages of 5-17 to encourage youth to challenge themselves in the outdoors and create a sense of independence -- physically, mentally, and financially. Participants earn branded "Wild Runner" tokens for completing partner trail races. Token values vary based on the difficulty and distance of the race. Tokens earned can be used (like cash) to purchase gear in the ReVibe Gear store, or saved and compiled for larger purchases at a later date.

Rocksylvania Kids Trail Race Series

https://www.revibeoutdoors.com/projects

Founded, organized, funded and launched the first and only kids' trail race series in the country. RKTRS is an ongoing 3-race annual series launched in 2022 and now in it's third successful year. The entire race series is free for participants, funded by proceeds from ReVibe Gear, includes single track courses in 3 different locations around the central PA trails, and has seen over 200 enthusiastic participants completing all 3 races since its launch.
