Projects
Women in Wake
Women is Wake is an empowering day of boater education on and off the water for females. This clinic is designed to teach boat driving and trailering skills to create a smooth, safe and fun experience when out on the water.
In these clinics, we teach women how to operate wake boats safely and effectively.
This includes: Trailering (loading the boat on and off the trailer at the ramp) Launching (backing the boat trailer down the ramp and pulling the boat and trailer back to the parking lot) Docking (pulling up to the dock to pick up guests, parallel parking or nosing in) Driving (controlling your speed, stopping and navigating waterways) Towing (towing wakesurfers, wakeboarders, tubers and water skiers behind the boat, as well as picking them up after a fall)
This clinic series has been in effect for the last 2 years and it has proven to instill great confidence in its participants. Having the proper learning experience when it comes to an activity such as boating is extremely important and this clinic has proven to be quite successful!
