I'm Katey Blaire, an outgoing, passionate creative designer.
I graduated from Oregon State University in 2014 with a BS in Apparel Design & Merchandising Management. Currently, I work at Nike WHQ.
I thrive in collaborative environments where I can freely express my creative vision and ideas and make them come to life. I am an energetic, quick learner, who excels at managing multiple projects and executing deadlines. My passion for aesthetics, fashion, design, culture and people shine through my work and my extra curriculars. I have experience in Fashion Design, Print & Pattern Design, Color Design, Print & Textile Development, Visual Design, Content Creation, and more!
Outside of Nike, I design and sell handmade apparel and masks on Instagram and Etsy, I create prints and pattern repeats for sale on sites like Spoonflower and Society6, and I manage a self-titled style & travel blog, which has given me ample experience in Styling, Story Telling, Personal Branding and Social Media.

Print & Pattern Apparel Material Developer II

Responsible for the timely execution of all seasonal printed apparel textile designs and developments from concept to completion. Manages 200+ print developments yearly and review of strike offs for final production. Collaborates with category partners to design and develop innovative print & pattern artworks, techniques and seasonal print colorways. Knowledge of advanced techniques such as foils, embossing and reflective. Utilize CAD programs and Adobe Creative Suite for artwork design, print separation, production of schematic packs, recoloring and colorway creation. Research fashion trend forecasting, consumer & cultural trends and apparel technology innovation. Establish trusting relationships with team members, category partners and international vendors to ensure strong communication all along the supply chain.
