With an extensive background in business development, communications, corporate training and commercial banking, and having lived and worked in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Mexico City, Osaka, Japan and Perth, Australia, Paul is able to bring his clients a comprehensive, global understanding of their businesses. He has assisted hundreds of businesses and business professionals make strategic decisions on their operations, sales, branding, and communications.

Growing up in Fremantle, Australia, Paul learned early that it is who you know as much as it is what you know. By mastering the art of creating lasting relationships and partnerships, Paul has made a successful career across a spectrum of industries including property development, manufacturing, apparel, environmental conservation, hospitality, higher education, and human resources.

Paul began his career in the US during the dot-com boom as the National Sales Manager for Wildlife Works, a sustainable organic fabric apparel manufacturer start-up that pioneered lean startup methodologies and the concept of conscientious consumerism.

For the past 14 years as Principal of paul brindley consults, Paul has mentored more than 100 apparel designers and manufacturers seeking to launch, position and accelerate in the apparel market as well as connecting and positioning innumerable business, individuals and sectors for success. In addition, he coaches small businesses and nonprofit organizations to harness the power of mobile and social media marketing.

Founder and principal of an international apparel industry, social media and business development consultancy assisting businesses to launch, position and accelerate in the US. • Mentored 100+ domestic and international brands resulting in successful US market entry and acceleration of 25 labels; developed qualified service provider network of over 300 distributors, sales agents, and other industry services. • Saved brands over $1M in start-up and operating costs through market research and validation, service provider matching, pricing and supply-chain optimization, trade show and marketing strategy, and development planning. • Created branding, social media and marketing content, coordinated retail sales and outreach strategies to generate sales and increase profitability for small retail and service businesses, nonprofits and business associations. • Doubled sales of longstanding Long Beach retailer by reorganizing retail management systems, developing email and social media presence, coordinating website creation, trade show wholesale buying and business operations. • Established 100-member small business association in economically depressed retail district generating hundreds of thousands of dollars of new business. • Write and edit internationally hailed business blog, “What’s Hot, What’s Not, What’s Next”.
