Small unit leadership skill-building, efficiency training, stress management, critical thinking and decisiveness "workshops", and I'm out of corporate descriptors. Plainly, I used radios and guns to help control air strikes in view of targets, and I got to do it all over the world with lots of different people of divergent nationalities, views, languages, and capabilities. I trained with the Georgians in Germany, Swedes in Scotland, Japanese and Brits in California, and had the honor of deploying to Helmand Province, Afghanistan in support of combat operations. Long story short, I spent some time out in the dirt and came back better for it.
