In my own words
— KrisKris Gross is a Montana-raised, graphic designer in New York City.
He has worked across multiple disciplines of visual communications, from concept to delivery, including brand identity, interactive media, digital graphics, web and mobile interface design, and studio photography. Prior to joining The Players’ Tribune, he was an associate designer for IPG Mediabrands, and content studio intern at R/GA. He holds his B.F.A. with an emphasis in graphic design from Montana State University, Bozeman, Montana. Recently, he has won a Publication Design Award by the American Advertising Awards and was mentioned on Dallas Society of Visual Communications.

Visual Designer · The Players' Tribune
Create multi-platform custom content and native advertising campaigns that engage The Players' Tribune audience of marketing and advertising professionals. Currently work closely with editors, designers, and account managers on a variety of projects for our social team, product and advertising partners. Work ranges from interactive articles, illustrations, social, animation, print, and photography. Managing multiple projects on time and budget, while being responsible for sale concepting and proposal design to post-sale execution and layout.

Associate Designer · IPG Mediabrands
Designer for the Internal Design Studio at IPG Mediabrands. We support the marketing and new business departments by creating collateral for pitch campaigns while helping push the creative idea a step further in a compelling story. This involves a versatile approach with deck presentations done in powerpoint, digital mock-ups in photoshop, and illustrator, website design, print materials, infographics and email marketing. Creating a cohesive collaboration on multiple teams in varies markets and working on a multidisciplinary platform.

Visual Design Intern · R/GA
Collaborated with the production team on shoots, live broadcasts and case study work to show potential clients. Assisted on lighting, camera set up, and post-production edits. Worked closely with the Presentation Studio, a capability that designs content for live audiences through visual storytelling. Created assets and designed infographics that distilled an abundance of data for a presentation.

Design Intern · HURRAW!
Demonstrated ability to design within restraints and create a workbook that would help launch a new brand for a personal trainer. Worked on supervised conference calls with clients, developed knowledge and created strong interpersonal skills. Some production work included: manipulating a typeface for a logo, designing a complete stationery system with deliverables, worked to define and market a personal brand through social media in a strategic way to gain followers, and built ads for promotional use.
