Katie

My name is Katie Kypuros, I am from San Marcos, Texas and I graduate from Texas State University in May 2017 with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Sales Concentration.

i have a passion for Marketing, Sports, event coordination, social media, PR and Brand Lifestyle management. I am currently looking for a full time position and would love to be a part of your Marketing Team! I think that with my awesome people skills, contagious enthusiasm and love for what I do, will resonate well with a team and make a company very happy. I have over 5 years of experience in promotions, brand ambassador positions, bartending, front desk admin work, and customer service. I have a lot of experience in events, set up, break down, planning, merchandising, sponsorship management, and have worked closely with athletes in a competitive atmosphere. i live for the outdoors, my dog, action sports and having fun, all while trying to be the hardest worker in the field. I look forward to connecting with all of you!

Number 1 no kill shelter in the United States of America. Centered in the heart of Austin, Texas. Home to one of the largest foster programs in the country and a staff of over 1,000 volunteers! I walk dogs, clean kennels, manage the front desk and additional duties like refilling treats, food and or cleaning dog bowls, and the dogs themselves!

Managing emails daily, connecting applications to the Adopt Team, Reviewing Applications/Approving/Declining. Creating a detailed site list of animals coming and going from adoption sites. Creating/maintaining database that includes new and current fosters, medical history, Behavior Consults, Medical consults, etc. Helping and ensuring all questions, and problems are answered and solved to best of my ability!

Managed and contributed to all social media accounts including facebook, instagram, wordpress, twitter and emails. Oversaw posts for events and special deals during the weeks and made sure everything was relevant and appropriate for content viewers. Managed, Directed, and Executed the very first World Snowboard Day at Texas Ski Ranch. An event that still carries on today 3 years later. Booked entertainment, worked closely with sponsors to provide merchandise and prizes for competitions and supervised and made the schedule for over 25 employees. Helped fit, size and book people in for boards, boots and jackets before they rode. After everyone is fitted and comfortable in gear rental duties include, making sure a valid waiver is signed and submitted, payment is taken and a wristband is visible! My job was just to make everyone’s experience the absolute best that it could be! Managing the front desk, phones, lessons and camp inquiries. Duties included making sure every guest was helped
