I currently design accessories, clothing, costumes, graphics and textiles for both children, adults, and even pets with a number of companies. My designs have garnered fans ranging from several celebrities to countless children and their parents. I do my best to make the world a better place, through donating and/or volunteering at charities and shelters, and through random acts of kindness.

Work Experience

2018 – Present

- Creation and management of corporate identity, including: logo and website design, and social media management. - Create custom artwork and write corresponding program files for 30 watt fiber laser to cut designs into various metals and polymers. - Assist with Cerakote application, including the creation and application of custom stencil and freehand artwork. - Manage ATF regulatory log book, expenses and supplies.

- Create and develop yarn-dye plaids, stripes, and all-over-print assortments. , screen prints, and embroideries for all Roper, Stetson & Tin Haul. - Organize and maintain digital and hard copy artwork files, fabric strike-offs, and embroidery samples. - Develop efficient art-boards and digital files for overseas partners. - Sketch rough and detailed drawings of apparel, and note specifications such as color schemes, construction, material types, and other requirements. - Communicate effectively with overseas vendors to achieve best possible outcome for fabric patterns, embroidery and screen print artwork. Identify areas that need improvement and work with partners to achieve better results. - Confer with sales and management executives to discuss design ideas and trend.

- Designed and developed licensed children’s apparel, dress-up and hair accessories, footwear and hosiery for major retailers such as Amazon, BuyBuyBaby, Kohl’s, Target, and Wal-Mart. - Designed an average of 3,000+ styles annually, averaging $80M at POS. - Integral team member for projects which secured new fixture spaces in BuyBuyBaby, Kohl’s, Target, and Wal-Mart, with multi-million dollar earning potential. - Established new procedures, created reference manuals, and provided training to optimize employee efficiency and effectiveness. Aforementioned procedures were estimated to save an average of 5 hours per style for Designer responsibilties. - Collaborated with cross-functional team and overseas partners to drive process improvements as part of the PLM task force. - Traveled domestically and overseas for meetings with clients and/or vendors, as well as for trend research. - Manage and train design team members, freelance designers and design interns. - Created technical packages such as measurements, bill-of-materials, construction, and color schemes.

- Collaborated with owner to create an organic childrenswear brand with core focus on sustainability. - Conducted online marketing initiatives such as paid ad placement, affiliate and sponsorship programs, email promotions, and viral marketing campaigns on social media platforms. - Launched and authored blog as a support system for parents to learn new environmentally conscious craft projects with their children, learn new “kid-friendly” healthy recipes, source other environmentally conscious brands/products, and to showcase their childrens’ accomplishments. - Conceptualized, created and separated graphics for placed and all-over prints. - Tested and fit samples, and approved or implemented changes accordingly. - Created marketing items such as look-books, packaging, website ads, sales emails, etc.

- Hired as part of new design team to upgrade product, revise garment fits, and update trend direction. - Responsible for development, design, technical packages of all men’s woven shirts, fleece, knit tops and sweaters for 116 location retailer. - Created yarn-dye plaid and stripe assortments for men’s and junior girls apparel. - Assisted with development, design and technical packages of men’s bottoms/outerwear and junior girls tops/bottoms/outerwear as needed. - Managed fit sessions with live models as well as dress forms, and modified designs as necessary.
