The music team handles any and all music relations in regards to the network. Freeform has the #1 social media presence of television networks and we work heavily with their team to coordinate partnerships with music artists/companies and plan promotional events in addition to over seeing all music in our series. Recently rebranded, there is much in store for Freeform music.

• For the U.S. and Canada – clears publishing shares by researching and confirming song splits and resolving split disputes by coordinating with Copyright department, labels, artist/writer management, attorneys, other publishing entities and international affiliates. Negotiates and approves license requests via direct licenses, the Harry Fox Agency (HFA) and one-off issued. Verifies license rate calculations based on Artist, Co-Writer and Producer agreements with major and indie record labels.
• Maintains composition assets in Youtube for all Billboard charting albums by adding in WCM song splits and updating payment options. Link all WCM composition assets to correct videos featuring our songs. Advises Youtube team regarding disputes and miscellaneous issues on certain assets such as an incorrect asset attached to a video.
