Snowboard Instructor · Brighton Ski Resort
I have worked as a full-time snowboard instructor at Brighton Ski Resort for the last 9 years. I am pursuing my alpine and park/pipe certification through the American Association of Snowboard Instructors. I teach children as young as four and adults as old as grandparents. I've learned amazing presentation and communication skills while working here. Being able to get your point across in a clear and concise way, while checking for understanding, is the key to teaching. As well as being able to adapt to the situation at hand without losing your cool. My duties include teaching "first-timers" up to "black diamond" level students, as well as "park and pipe" clinics.
