In My Own Words
Slated to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Marine Affairs from Hawaii Pacific University in 2024, I am currently honing my leadership skills as a Retail Supervisor at VOLCOM. In tandem with my studies, I have developed core competencies in customer service, training, and microscopy through hands-on marine internships and rigorous academic coursework.
During my recent internships with the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, our team contributed to pioneering AI technology for marine wildlife tracking and studied the impact of contaminants on fish health, leveraging my microscopy skills for critical research. These experiences have not only fortified my technical abilities but also instilled a deep commitment to applying my knowledge toward meaningful environmental work within a collaborative team setting.
