• Hired by this Textile Jobber to develop an in-house art department and transition it into a Textile Converter. Played a direct role in the growth (exceeding 600%) of David Textiles, through the establishment and continued development of a creative design group.
• Hired, directed and managed all in-house textile designers and freelancers. Directed line development, trained and implemented all procedures within the departments.
• Hired, directed and managed textile production team, trained and implemented all procedures within the department. Responsibilities included extensive international travel for offshore printing and sourcing to ensure timely delivery and quality control. Extensive knowledge of all printing/dyed processes for woven and knits. Worked directly with agents and mills. Countries frequented are China, India, Taiwan, Korea, Indonesia and Japan.
