• Tested gaskets for leakage and water intrusion inside the bezel by setting up different tests and studying the cell structure under microscope. Temporary solutions (adhesives in conjunction with gaskets) were implied to continue production. For longer run, new and better materials (molded silicone) were also tested to replace the current gaskets • Tested the check valves on the pumps for UL approval • Assisted the team in designing and prototyping a drainage system for the bezel • Designed and prototyped (3D printed) a pull in type automatic lock system for the upcoming line of models • Regularly engaged with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and achieve cost reduction of existing products • Led technical discussions with Suppliers and Customers to resolve design issues throughout the product life cycle

• Assisted in establishment of new production lines for Steering Assembly of new FarmTrac model • Increased the productivity by reducing cutting insert change losses on a Duplex Milling Machine, amounting to nearly 5500$ in savings p.a., as a part of internship project • Reduced the overall assembly time by coupling two stations into one, to avoid bottlenecking • Implemented 5S and Kanban to maintain operations and continuous improvements, hence streamlined the production process and increased efficiency • Prepared and released 3D CAD models, assembly components and 2D drawings with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), Bills of Material (BOMs), Design Failure Mode and Analysis (DFMEAs) • Developed reports on leakage testing, cycle time study and defects found out during manufacturing
