As the second hire for a newly-formed US-based office for a high-end Italian bicycle brand, I handled a wide variety of roles outlined below.
• Sourced components for and managed fleet of 30 factory demo bikes for use at consumer facing events. • Managed nationwide pilot Dealer Demo Program involving 18 dealers and 90 bikes. • Built event schedules and organized logistics for 10-15 events per year and worked most events. • Created graphics and sourced promo goods, in-store displays and event displays. • Traveled the US visiting dealers to gather information on the brand and what changes could be make for growth resulting in increases of over 20% in both sales and profit. • Researched 10 potential new outside sales representatives, made initial interviews, and assisted with on-boarding. • Produced Sales Manual for outside sales force including: research, layout, graphics, images, copywriting of brand history, technical information, key selling points, and competitive advantages. • Compiled competitive analysis studies and made changes resulting in greatly increased sales of entry and mid-level models. • Created and organized logistics and schedules for National Sales Meeting.
