Footwear Designer

2021 – Present

Provide hand drawn and Adobe Illustrator renderings of footwear concepts.Manage tech pack information to be sent to factories for sampling.Deliver trend research to design team for upcoming projects

Tech Dev I

Nike, Inc.

2018 – 2019

Update tech pack measurements and Spec requirements being sent to china PCC (Product Creation Center) for spring 2020 men's training, running, and sportswear collections as well as measuring samples to ensure garments were being created to NIKE spec. Choose samples that best fit the NIKE spec for fit and wear test usage. Maintained storage and proper disposal of garment samples.

2018 – 2019

Worked with companies like Keen and Lululemon on various footwear concept and ideation Modeled various projects in solidworks software from sketches created by management and myself Maintained studio 3d printer to ensure proper performance Coordinated with local manufacturers to get low volume runs of parts

Assisted VP of footwear design (Jake Rivas) by creating techpacks, and colorways for work / hiker project. Worked with senior designer on ideation / sketch development for english riding project.

2017 – 2017

Redesigned and 3d printed prototypes based on input from Mike Friton. Learned the basics of footwear prototyping from patterning to final assembly. Accompanied the studio to the Northwest Footwear Materials Show where I spoke with manufacturers and represented the company.

2008 – 2017

Managed repair schedule and facilitated work between 10 employees. Performed repairs on various types of bicycles. Worked the sales floor and engaged with customers on getting them the right product for their needs.

Industrial Design Intern

2017 – 2017

Worked as a designer for the Camp Bizsmart organization where I created concept artwork for each team of clients. Was sent to Chattanooga, TN to work with a Camp Bizsmart team at the Baylor School. At this camp I coached teams as well as provided the concept artwork. Learned a lot about client relations and delivering exactly what the client asked for.
