In My Own Words
Recent College Graduate with an eagerness to obtain an entry level marketing or sales position within the Action Sports Industry. Currently looking to relocate to Southern California.
As a longtime skateboarder and snowboarder, I have transferred my love for board sports into leadership roles as both President/Co-Founder and Executive Board Member of two different student organizations for 3+ years.
Until recently, I had served as President and Co-Founder of Skate Ilstu at Illinois State University. In this role, I had oversaw and assisted in students completing event objectives and social media marketing goals, as well as planning and leading club meetings to encourage group collaboration and cohesion. All club priorities were geared to generate student interest in organization participation.
In a similar role, I had served as Executive Board Member for Illinois State Snow Crew, where I expressed marketing strategies with other board members to promote Campus-wide awareness. I also assisted in the successful planning, marketing, and implementing of 3 annual ski excursions of over 100 students to various locations such as Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado.
Outside of my extracurricular activities, I have had numerous jobs that have given me 5+ years of excellent customer service experience. I hope to take my knowledge of customer needs and satisfaction to a larger scale, by entering into a marketing role which can help connect products and services that enhance their lives.
