In my own words
— SperryCurious and charismatic, Sperry's career path reflects his diverse interests.
Working primarily in the automotive world, his broad experience and skills complement a formal education earned in rigorous Jesuit schools and universities. From metal fabrication and art history to research & development and non-profit leadership; from project management and architectural preservation to event creation and revenue growth - he loves surmounting new challenges and making the world just a little better each day.
Beyond work, he volunteers as a member of the Men's Arts Council, raising millions of dollars through annual events and successful fundraising and partnerships that support the Phoenix Art Museum and the Arizona DPS 10-90 Foundation, helping fallen officers and their families. He's been honored to serve on the Board of Directors, as Chairman / Emcee of the world-class Copperstate 1000 vintage road rally, and as a Co-Founding Chairman of the world's first luxury, vintage, off-road rally, the incredible Copperstate Overland.
A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Sperry spent much of his youth exploring the wilds of the Pacific and the Sea of Cortez with family and friends through his parents' dive tour company (think "Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" with "Cheers" and some "Reading Rainbow" mixed in.) Having escaped the desert twice for some Southern California living, he's recently returned to Phoenix and may stick around a while.
