I am an energetic apparel professional with a passion for the sourcing and production side of the apparel industry! I grew up in Alaska with a love for the outdoors, went to college at the Art Institute of Portland and moved back up the coast to Washington after almost a decade in socal.

Designer and Founder
Opal Heart2016 – 2022
-Full scope design and production of custom womenswear, utilizing sustainability and slow fashion principles. -Created, managed and maintained budget, website and social media presence, growing audience to 1100+ customers. NYFW 2019 presence reached an audience of over 10,000, compared to 500 at PDX Sustainable Fashion Forum. -Developed relationships with international and domestic vendors. -Taught sewing lessons to students age 8-60

-Followed direction from design team to select materials for the line. Initiated and analyzed trend research to make recommendations for future seasons. -Accurately input and owned 2,000+ materials and styles into PLM database. Facilitated PLM softwear change. -Communicated and sourced directly with vendors, overseas and domestic. Designed and produced original trims. -Developed and organized physical materials library with over 5,000 items, expediting design process for all users. -Adhered to project deadlines for 3 design teams, resulting in on time launches.
