Researched and tested new materials for Advanced Thin Ply Composite Technology for use in competition and super yacht sails such as the America's Cup, Volvo Ocean Race, and largest sails in existance. Specialized in aramid, carbon, and Dyneema/Spectra (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene, UHMWPE) fibers and polyester and polyurethane blend adhesives. Ensured a quality product by testing strength, durability, chemical resistance, ultra-violet resistance, adhesion, viscosity, and cure time. Managed all lab activity and experiments for a better product processes. Engineered more efficient and higher quality processes and technology.
