Most people call me Rob, but sometimes I go by Bobby. I’m a simple guy at my roots; I love my home state of Arizona, a great cup of coffee, my loyal dog Bandit, a fresh pair of shoes, and last-minute camping trips. I'm an independent freelance graphic designer and creative force, specializing in Art Direction, Branding and Packaging Design. This unique role is a combination of Art Direction, Brand Design, and Packaging Design combined into one creative position. My responsibilities include the design of all company creative assets, from retail packaging design for national retailers such as ULTA Beauty and Target Corporation, to digital and social media design, to website and overall visual design for the MBD brand.

• Lead and deliver Design Direction of all Brand Packaging, Merchandising and Displays • Conceptualize and design future Product Packaging relevant to the brand and consumer • Manage and lead a growing team of Production Artists and Designers • Act as the liaison with the Creative and Marketing Teams to ensure Artwork is delivered accurately • Partner cross-functionally with Product Development and Marketing Departments • Work closely with key manufacturers, print vendors and suppliers • Attend regularly scheduled Press Checks for component color matching and pre-production samples • Construct physical mock-ups of products using appropriate substrates to prove concepts • Assist with designing Seasonal Brand Assets across print and digital platforms • Research and explore trending Design, Packaging, and Creative work relevant to the brand • Continuously strive to be inspired and promote inspiration throughout the team • Be a positive force for others, and never stop learning from each other • Collaborate in a fast-paced, team environment
