Rachel Perl

My name is Rachel. I am an experienced graphic artist and I am a creative person inside and out, my background is mostly fine art. I've taught children and adults to draw and paint. I value the connections I make with others and I think collaboration is the best part of working with a team of talented individuals. I am fun, sweet, energetic and passionate about my work. I previously a textile manufacturer and distributor for the Hospitality, Retail, and Institutional industries, located in Foothill Ranch, CA.

My position was unique as I was the only graphic artist on staff for a company of over 200 employees worldwide. While in that position I obviously wore many hats. My job was to design, prepress check and finalize all sorts of marketing material. I juggled the ad submissions of 9 different online and printed magazines, Scheduled photo shoots, prepared the photo room for each shoot, as wel as shot photos of the company's products and models, edited those photos and prepared and submitted each ad. In addition I designed and created hang tags for retail products, packaging, as well as the law and care labels for each product.

I created the website for the newest division of the company and designed 3 piece towel sets for retail by creating a CAD file for manufacturers in India, China and Pakistan, as well as communicate during production with each manufacturer.

I collaborated with each division's head of marketing and sales to deliver strong marketing campaigns, catalogs, mailers, photo shoots and ads for special events, trade-shows and buyers.

My ability to problem solve and my tenacity keep the project status on the right track allowing submissions to be on time and ready for print.
