— PatrickGreetings, My name is Patrick Garcia I have been an artist almost my entire life and I continue to keep art apart of my design practice.
When I am not creating I am often doing some kind of outdoor activity, at a zoo, or somewhere in nature. I hold an MFA in Graphic Design from Otis College of Art and Design. I currently work as an Art Director in Los Angeles. My personal work is strongly invested in science fiction and wildlife. My portfolio website is www.thisismagnus.com.

In my current role as an Art Director, it is my responsibility to concept, execute, coordinate, and produce all annual campaigns. From the moment I am briefed, I along with my writing partner create ideas and pitch those to senior management and accounts. I am very hands on in this process and will make whatever is needed to insure an idea comes to life. At this time, I or my CD, will pitch the concepts to the client. Once a campaign is chosen, it is time to make. I generate all key layouts for: print, digital, OOH, web, interactive, TV, etc. What I make all depends on the budget. I pass my creative to a studio team, which I supervise, as they create mechanicals. I am responsible for coordinating with production, broadcast, freelancers, social, or whomever is involved with the project to ensure we make the live date. During any part of the making process, if I am needed to shoot original content, go on press, spend time with an editor, etc, I will do so.
