In My Own Words

I've worked in the action sports Industry for 20+ years, having experience in retail, marketing, event organization, manufacturing and wholesale distribution as well as graphic design, branding and identity. I have designed multiple hard and soft good lines for skateboard, surf and music manufactures, as well as many other companies and industries.

A dynamic team player with well-developed written and verbal communication abilities, I thrive in collaborative and interpersonal environments. A passionate and inventive creator of innovative logo and apparel design, accustomed to performing in deadline-driven environments with an emphasis on working within budget requirements.

My goals are to stay creative and grow every day. Currently working in custom manufacturing for beverage tap handles and promotional materials.

2000 – Present

Created compelling and successful brand identities, marketing materials, packaging solutions, digital and print imaging for multiple companies including ATM Skateboards, Vans Shoes, Patagonia, Western Athletic Clubs, and Pig Hog cables.

Designed logos, letterhead, t-shirts, posters, mailers, ad campaigns, and marketing strategies that were effective in increasing recognition and profitability, while partnering with external agencies, vendors, and internal teams to meet multiple deadlines within short time frames.

Vita Planing and Landscape Architecture

2022 – 2024

Brand manager and art director of Vision packages, for Hi End landscape architecture boutique working with global developers. Responsible for upkeep of branding, design aesthetic, marketing, and quality control.

Production Designer

Taphandles LLC

2016 – 2020

Responsible for creating design specs for tap handles, promotional material and LED signs for almost every beer company international and domestic. Taphandles is the largest manufacturer of tap handles in the world, working with everyone from Anheuser Busch to smaller craft breweries like Freemont Brewing, or Bear Republic. Working with domestic and international custom manufactures to create unique and marketable designs using 3D and 2D design tools.

2011 – 2015

Designed graphics and brand concepts for skateboards, surfboards, wetsuits and accessories. Private label apparel design, conceived and created marketing and fundraising campaigns, for community outreach impacting youth activity and environmental awareness. Opened and closed store, managed staff, oversaw construction projects, including build outs for new retail locations, managed business operations, created merchandising and business development strategies.

Designed all e-commerce marketing materials including e-mail flyers, e-marketing campaigns and infographics. Rebranded 30-year corporate identity through logo redesign, website development, and various print and digital campaigns. Wholesale sales to over 500 domestic retail locations, maintained on-line customer database and introduced new brands.
