With 10 years experience in the fashion industry, I specialize in and am passionate about Swimwear design. I'm highly skilled in Illustrator and Photoshop and very involved in all aspects of the design and production process- from color/trend prediction, mood boards, fabric and trim selection and sourcing, sketching, tech pack creation, fitting, working with tech and graphic designers, production planners, markers and graders, all while adhering to strict production deadlines.

Trimera Brands2016 – Present
- designing and launching a new contemporary swimwear brand called Sea & Her - Senior Designer and Creative Director for private label projects: Merona for Target, Design Lab for Lord & Taylor, Apt.9 for Kohl's, A.N.A for JCP - redesigning and relaunching into the US Market, 2 Missy swimwear brands: Christina and Captiva - high level of participation through all aspects of the design process from creating mood boards, color/trend prediction, sketching (hand and Illustrator), print creation and manipulation in Photoshop, creating tech packs, working with tech and graphic designers, putting strike offs and lab dips into work with overseas print vendors, conducting fittings and relaying fit comments, spec-ing and fit checks on production submits. - presenting sewn samples to both sales team and buyers of major department stores and specialty swim stores.

Designed the swimwear lines for Splendid, Ella Moss, Nautica, Athena, and Private Label brands Gianni Bini and Antonio Melani for Dillard's - Worked on both licensed and in-house brands, creating story boards, choosing color stories and artwork, sketching silhouettes in Illustrator - Created and manipulated artwork in Photoshop, worked with graphic designer on repeats - Specialized in engineered print layouts and getting the best fabric yield for cutting multiple styles from a single layout - Showed the line and worked directly with buyers of major retailers during market week

Responsible for designing and executing the swimwear brands A.B.S. by Allen Schwartz and Rampage. - Created more than 80 flat sketches per season in Illustrator, re-colored prints and manipulated artwork in Photoshop. - Sourced and created custom trims. - Created tech packs for overseas vendors. - Regularly fit swim and cover-ups on fit models and saw garments through production. - Worked with buyers at the Miami Swim Show. - Organized photoshoots which involved location scouting, hiring models, photographers, hair and make-up artists, post-production re-touching, and getting look books printed. - Interacted with fashion editors of leading international publications.
