- Communicating daily basis with factories in China, India, and Bangladesh via e-mail and phone - Communicating with factories daily basis for coordination of Production and solve the production problem - Price negotiation with factories - New factory sourcing - Verifying customer's purchase orders to place orders with suppliers - Reviewing fit/proto sample, pre-production samples, and production samples - Complete final review of all pre-production samples. - Maintaining spreadsheets of Work in Process (WIP). - Verifying shipping invoices, sample payments

- Work with Sourcing Director to develop all upcoming lines and to manage existing incoming production. - Work with Sourcing Director and Designers to build a road map for future seasonal product - Confirm final order placement and deliveries. - Partner with sourcing channels and internal cross-functional teams to create a time and action calendar - Continually analyzes the effectiveness of the development process and modifies as needed. - Manage relationships with sourcing partners (Garments Factory, Trim suppliers, Label makers, Print house, Shipping Company/Forwarder, etc) - Visit competitors stores, bring the new idea for the designers to develop new products - Manager new products developed from the design to "ready for start production" - Visit trade fair and collect upcoming fashion trends for Design and Merchandising department. PRODUCTION STRATEGY AND MANAGEMENT : - Factory Sourcing, selection, Price Negotiating, Order Placement, Selection of payment terms. - Facilitate weekly production updates with Founder and relevant Team Members - Provide technical manufacturing expertise - Visit manufacturers in Europe and Asia to drive product development, negotiate cost, and monitor the manufacturing process. - Manage quality assessment and testing - Monitor employee performance, provide feedback and develop employees through formal and on-the-job training - Identity and evaluate supplier capacities to maximize business potential - Evaluate supplier's performance and help factories to meet the company's standard - Evaluate factories financial status, that factory has the financial capacity to procure orders - Correspondence and follow up with agents, factories, and vendors on a daily basis Maintaining spreadsheets of Work in Process (WIP).

- Merchandising, Production Planning, Quality, Man/Machine and Time Management and achieving on-time delivery. - Assured profitability of the customers by ensuring the timely delivery of orders with Quality and Quantity. - Executed the orders in a perfect manner and implementing the systems in place. - Coordinated with product development, costing and following up on Quality. - Created new developments with the help of the design team. - Leading the staff team in an efficient and affecting way to make sure the timely and errorless delivery. - Liaison with Overseas Customers and Local/ Overseas Suppliers. - Production planning and confirming the delivery dates to Customer. - Manage the supply chain from the yarn to finished products ready for export - Quality control from the Knitting/ Weaving, Dyeing, Cutting, Printing/ Embroidery, Sewing, Packing - Communicating with Buyer’s nominated third party Inspection team, follow up Implement their instruction during productions - Maintaining records for PO details, Production details, Quality charts Test reports, Season wise order details, and all daily necessary work procedures. - Trimming/ Printing/ Embroidery/ Fabrics Management - Developing the new Vendors as per the Buyer's quality standard and educating the existing vendors about the updates. - Solving the issues and instructing solutions for Production practical difficulties on a daily basis. - Imparting production planning updates to buyers on a regular basis. - Handling domestic Fabrics and Accessories production and follow-up - Dealing with Bank for financial support of the factory and Insurance/ Logistics/ Shipping Company for the Export procedure - Monitoring Export documents for proper documents, so buyer can release goods at the destination without any problem - Maintain relation and Communication with Government and non-government organization related to Clothing Industries - Staffs and Workers training and coaching for skill development

Fartex International Ltd is a Buying House working with USA & European customers) I was responsible for Head of Operation the entire Buying and Merchandising of Fartex International Ltd for their Sourcing & Product Development, Buying & Merchandising, Pricing & Negotiations, Production & Technical/Quality Assurance Management, and Final Inspection till shipment with Supply Chain from India, Bangladesh, China more than 30 Suppliers and sub-contractors with a team of merchandises and QC’s around 25 staffs members.
