In My Own Words
My current focus in the fashion industry has been visual merchandising where I can use my creative visual skills to help tell the brand story and appeal to the consumer. Another lies in product/apparel development where I like to create designs based around a lifestlye. For example; I love fashion, but grew up in the country, so I started designing to reflect that under my own line, Country Edge Clothing. I also have a great interest in the action sports market, as that sector truly embodies 'lifestyle passion' and would love to work in that industry. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in International Fashion Merchandising Management and Minor in Italian from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, where I also studied abroad for a year at Polimoda International Institute of Design and Merchandising in Florence, Italy. While there, I did as much side travel as I could and fueled the desire to see and experience as much of the world as I can. I love travel and trip planning and have continued to do both every chance I get. I am organized, punctual, adaptable, determined, ambitious, reliable, and a quick learner who keeps a well balanced mix of creative artistic expression and business savvy. I work great in a team as well as independently. I love learning new things and am constantly acting to enhance my current skills and acquire new ones!
