Work Experience
Citizens Banker
Citizens Bank2019 – Present
At Citizens, my primary goal is to build trusting relationships with clients and help them through their financial lives. Through this process, I help clients plan for their future, overcome current financial situations, and achieve sales goals in the process. I have created a book of business with clients I work closely with, and I source new clients by focusing on setting appointments over the phone, transitioning customers at the teller line, and communicating clearly in each interaction.
Sales Associate
Sun Valley Sports2020 – Present
In this role, I work with customers from the time they walk in the store to the time they leave. After initially greeting them at the door, I ask what I can help them find. I then determine the customer need and identify their rider profile. I will give 2-3 recommendations with an explanation as to why these products will work best for them and give them the best experience on the mountain. I have successfully been able to do this in the areas of snow apparel and snowboarding hard goods. While working part time, I was able to win a sales contest in the shop and sold over $20k of merchandise in 2 months.
Sales Representative
Polar Merchandise2018 – 2018
Polar Merchandise is a business ran solely by students in the James F. Dicke College of Business at Ohio Northern University. My role as a sales representative gave me the opportunity to develop new territory on campus. I acquired new customers through building relationships with different organizations and departments. I earned and retained business through excellent communication, beating competitors prices, and hitting deadlines. I was able to grow my territory with 12 new accounts and had over $7,000 in sales part time. The sales projections for these new clients in 2019 exceeded $15,000.
Recruitment Chair
Sigma Pi Fraternity2017 – 2018
Brought 21 new brothers into the fraternity, raising $14,700 in funds per year as Recruitment Chair. Organized and ran multiple successful recruitment events which included working within a budget, getting potential new members to the events, and creating positive experiences for everybody involved. I was able to attend the Sigma Pi mid-year leadership conference in St. Louis which helped me improve my relationship building skills, and I was also able to give back to the community through volunteer events and philanthropic endeavors.
Vice-President
Ohio Northern Ski and Snowboard Club2018 – 2018
While in this role, I was given the duty of organizing trips to our local resort. We worked to create a welcoming environment for new club members to join, and I was able to continue my involvement within the snowboard industry while in school.
Owner
M&C Detailing2018 – 2018
Started and operated an automotive detailing business with $6,000 in sales in 8 weeks. Sourced customers through door to door sales and creating a buzz on social media using before and after photos, customer testimonials, and telling an inspiring story behind the brand. Found ideal price points with market research to fit the desired demand given availability to detail.
Student Athlete
Men's Lacrosse2015 – 2017
I played on the first established Ohio Northern lacrosse team, achieving winning seasons each year. I lettered both seasons through continually improving personal skills and dedicating myself to teamwork. I was also able to improve time management skills as a varsity athlete and maintaining Dean's list status each semester.
