I worked as a retail sales professional, providing exceptional customer service, and comprehensive product knowledge. I enjoyed helping people discover the right product for their particular ailment and how it could benefit them. As one of the top performers, I used sales strategies to produce 80-100k in revenue each month. I would follow procedures to utilize POS system to accurately and correctly process orders and track sales. I handled cash and credit card transactions. I flexibly engaged with a diverse customer base, using skills in active listening and verbal communication to identify and resolve customer issues. It was also pertinent to abide by state regulation compliances, and follow all health, safety, and sanitation requirements. I also performed other duties, as a delivery driver, and clerical duties at reception. This included answering telephone calls, emails, and general customer inquiries. I would receive and greet guests for both curbside and in store purchases, as well as verifying customers’ IDs for legal age and validity. In addition, I performed opening and closing tasks as directed; clean and organize shelves, prepare product displays, examine products to ensure that they are correctly priced, and stock inventory.

As Doorman I was the first and last point of contact to all guests/visitors entering and leaving the property. I would inform guest of property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest/activities. I would identify ands explain room features to guests, along with transporting their luggage from their vehicles to their rooms, and/or designated bell area. I assisted guests/visitors in and out of their vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage. Also, I would handle, store/organize, and manage ski/snowboards, bikes, and golf bags during the appropriate seasons. I supplied guests with driving directions, arranged transportation, and recorded advance transportation request as needed. In addition, I would communicate parking procedures and supervise/manage overall front drive operations on the Porte Cochere.

Front Office, Call Center Agent

As a Call Center agent we wore many different hats. I fielded inbound and in-house calls and directed guest to appropriate departments. I acted as the front of house liaison, between bell, valet, housekeeping, engineering, loss prevention, and all other departments. I answered questions pertaining to the property facilities/services, and room accommodations. I explained the guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to caller. As well as accommodation and documenting special requests. I would input and access data in the reservation system, performed wake up calls, established late check outs with the front desk. Also, I took in room dining orders using Micros software, and communicated instructions to the kitchen and servers. In addition, I followed proper escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns. I anticipated the unexpressed needs and wishes of our guest. As well as passing out any pending issues to fellow associates, and troubleshooting internet connectivity problems.

I acted as a tier 1 travel agent fielding inbound calls and making guest reservations for lodging, air, and ski activity packages. I marketed the products and services the mountain had to offer by conducting outbound call campaigns. In addition, I volunteered at sponsored events and took on additional projects and tasks, company wide.

I conducted inside and outside sales, answering inbound calls and marketing to potential clients on outbound calls. I would explain to the client about the process, and provide them information about our company and the products available. I interviewed the potential client; analyzing their income, credit, and equity, determined by a property assessment . This would allow me to determine which product would ideally suit the borrowers needs, allowing me to recommend the best possible option for their particular situation. I would verify all of their credentials by obtaining all necessary documents. I explained the legal disclosures, and submitted all required material to the underwriters of the bank for the final approval.

I greet and seated the guests and checked their id's to verify that they were of proper age to consume alcoholic beverages. I worked the cash register and conducted daily financial sales reports. I account for, ordered, and restocked inventory. I performed bar opening and closing duties. I also marketed and promoted events for the Graduate Lounge as well. * I am certified licensed Bartender and have also obtained my TIPS certification (Training for Intervention Procedures).

I aided the broker in operations dealing with life insurance, employee benefits, financial and retirement planning. I would conduct administration for group and individual policies, and contacted clients regarding premium payments or policy changes. I set up appointments for the clients to undergo health assessment consultations and gathered all documents necessary for determining which coverage plans the clients are eligible for. In addition I helped manage financial accounts; commissions, bills, and created a pro forma for the company’s records.
