I am a skateboarder from Ireland that was lucky to part of Californian skateboard brand Epic skateboards.

I was a key player in all creative aspects of the company from product design, content creation to social media management. I was sponsored by Epic Skateboards when a video that I produced and edited caught their attention on You Tube. I became a key member of their design and marketing team and report directly to the Chief Executive. I lead expansion of the business within the UK and Ireland and have been one of the leads in rebranding the company. My responsibilities also included representing the brand, travelling to increase outreach, product design, social media marketing of the brand and content creation for the different channels using photo and video editing. I was also part of a sub company called Prophet wheels, I created the branding, Designed products and created magazine adverts.

I founded the community interest organisation to develop and support urban sports in the Newry area, I started the campaign for an urban sports park; assembled a team to develop the project and coordinated with councillors and other officials during the process. On the strength of my business case and the presentation my team and I delivered to the Newry & Mourne District Council, we received full backing to the next stage of development. The organisation now has 8 members and is currently working alongside a collective of community groups know as Newry 2020 and is in the planning stages for a city park and skate park. I approached Trip with a proposal to sell professional skateboard equipment in store and was given an assistant manager position to help develop the shop. My role included marketing the store on social networks; new product research; media content creation; stock management, placing orders from multiple distributors; training and development of staff; motivating and leading my team, cash handling and customer service.
