— MatthewMatthew Ross Obrero is a Graphic Designer working in the field of Apparel and Marketing.
10 years of formal art training across various disciplines laid the foundation for his 4 years of design work in-house at both a burgeoning lifestyle brand and a popular skate e-commerce retailer working with brands such as Nike SB, Adidas, Vans, and Volcom. He is interested in continuing to work in fashion, where he feels his experience and passion for apparel can best contribute to a creative team.

Digital Marketing Designer · CCS / Daddies Board Shop
The primary duties between both CCS & Daddies were to create marketing assets to help promote and elevate the brands (such as Nike SB, Adidas, Vans, and Volcom) and products carried. Designed over 350 banners for web and produced over 300 emails, and was also responsible for various assets for social, print ads, and editorial content deliverables for the web version of the CCS catalog.

As Creative Art Director: Contributed to growth of Strata from a local presence to nationally recognized apparel brand by building the framework for the creative team. Lead the team through concept and creation of all marketing assets for both digital and print, strengthened brand identity, directed photographic imagery, and constructed seasonal lookbooks.
As Apparel Designer: Responsible for designing patterns and graphics for apparel and accessories, helped explore new cuts and styles, built garment templates, and set up tech packs for sourcing and production.
