Marquita Lopez is a Costume Designer whose experience has been crafted over 10 years in this incredible and fast-paced, industry.

Starting her career in print and online editorial projects, her work has been featured in Bunker Hill, Bl!ss Magazine and Runwayz Magazine. A few years later she received her first opportunity to assist Head of Costume Design on the Emmy winning show, “The Bay.” The following 3 years she was appointed the Head Costumer and in 2017, with her expertise, The Bay was nominated for Best Costume Design.

She later worked on the film “Siji: Driver”, which won several Long Island Film Festival awards including, Best Feature. Feature films like “Get Big”, led her to several movies for Urban Movie Channel (UMC) where she landed alongside legendary music and film Producer Master P and his film, “I Got The Hook Up 2.” Her hard work has also positioned her talent with famed comedians Eddie Griffin, Louie Anderson and Jackass star Steve-O, on comedy tours thus proving her wide range in costume design.

Marquita doesn’t confine herself to any particular area of art and fashion. She prides on her ability to take any creative challenge, whether designing for pop stars or consulting on projects in film, visual art, theater, or dance.

I supported the publisher, sales and edit staff with contracts, print and online campaigns while also managing the receptionist position. I designed Power Point presentations and sales collateral for sales meetings and trade shows, worked with accounting regarding advertiser credit, organized and attended events, trade shows and advertiser meetings, composed contracts for events and ad campaigns for both print and online. I helped to track advertiser activity to forecast future sales and budget, set up and organized client meetings, prepared weekly reports for the sales staff regarding ads and credit reports, coordinated their travel and submitted expense reports.
