— MarianPursuing a career in the fashion industry has been a lifelong interest of mine.
There are people who go through life not knowing what they want to do, whereas my career ambitions have not wavered. It is not difficult for me to maintain high levels of energy and motivation. This is indicative to the enthusiasm and consistency in work ethic that I will demonstrate in the workplace. I have been working hard towards my goal to obtain a job that is akin to apparel buying, e-commerce, wholesale, event planning, public relations, content creation, branding, social media, and/or marketing.

Sample Coordinator · Old Navy HQ
- A sample coordinator is the first point of contact when retrieving samples, which means that it is highly important that each item is checked-in accurately and moved through the pipeline swiftly so that items are posted on the website for e-commerce sales.
- Oversaw samples for the online team and helped ensure that all items moved smoothly through the photography pipeline.
- Other tasks included communicating with the distribution centers to reorder samples, organizing samples in sample closets, onboarding new hires, assist with photography reports, and working with cross functional teams to source samples.

- Worked closely with the owner of the company to redesign the SquareSpace website, as well as created and posted social media content for Instagram honing my graphic design, photography, and videography skills (@brooklynprla).
- Assisted in all activities for the showroom which included merchandising the product, stock replenishment, managing brand accounts and samples, as well as facilitated appointments with clients.
- Collaborated with PR team to research specific press and media outlets, obtained magazine and editorial credits, as well as created product pitches and press outreaches.

I am a seasonal employee for UBM (under another company called Informa) who is in charge of producing the MAGIC fashion trade show. I also worked the February 2020 show.
- Worked with multiple brands to dress and style models for photoshoots and social media.
- Maintained a professional backstage presence while keeping products in order, and was required to adapt in a fast pace environment.
