Lisa Laporte is an experienced professional who is currently working as the CEO of two companies, Artisanal Agency and TWiT.tv.

Lisa has an extensive professional career, stretching over a few decades. She has a passion for business and thoroughly enjoys her work. Starting out in sales and marketing, Lisa Laporte eventually worked through a variety of positions and roles in different companies. In her 30s, Lisa decided it was time to start her own business, thanks to her extensive knowledge.

Lisa Laporte soon founded a consulting agency. Thanks to her extensive network of professional contacts, she was able to find a multitude of consulting opportunities. Within one year, Lisa was able to hire employees because of the many consulting clients she acquired. After several years, Lisa decided she was ready for another tier of her professional career and moved on from her consulting business.

Eventually, Lisa Laporte joined TWiT.tv. As she worked through the ranks of the company, she finally settled into the role of CEO. By this time, Lisa realized that there was an area that was lacking in the podcast industry and decided to found her own business, Artisanal Agency, to meet this need. Artisanal Agency helps connect advertisers with TWiT's podcasters and ensures that both parties provide quality to one another.

Manage staff of twenty, oversee all aspects of technology based podcasting company, negotiate & execute advertising contracts, manage outside sales & inside sales, manage production team, perform executive producer responsibilities with founder, oversee engineering department, perform all human resource duties, oversee accounting processes, maintain partner relationships, cash flow projections and business development.

Full charge CEO/CFO/accounting/finance/management/bookkeeping/consulting services for all types of industries. Book of business included thirty companies with twenty clients and I held the Controller/CFO title with most clients. My employees performed all the basic bookkeeping work while my skill set included high-end management, CEO, CFO duties with experience and knowledge in A/R, A/P, G/L, bank statement reconciliations, cash flow projections, budgets, payroll, sales tax, occupancy tax, job costing, financial statements, audit schedules, insurance negotiations & renewals, new loans & refinances for commercial & residential properties, amortization, depreciation, all aspects of accounting from set up, clean up, to maintenance, oversaw audits, maintained relationships with CPA firms & banks. My position evolved quickly and a majority of my time was spent managing accounting teams, hiring & training new employees, working with executive teams on growth and/or cutbacks, and focusing primarily on Controller/CFO/CEO duties.

Managed accounting team of six, oversaw all aspects of accounting for over fifty commercial/residential projects worth over $900 million, oversaw accounting for residential mortgage company, automated accounting processes, maintained banking relationships, cash management, construction draws, month-end and year-end closes, cash flow projections, all aspects of insurance, payroll, budgets, CAM reconciliations, hiring process, and year-end audits.
