In my own words
— KurtI've been working in the entertainment industry since 2007.
I started in front of the camera but quickly learned behind the lens is where I wanted to be. Finding solutions to problems is what I live for. Like Ron Howard, I used my time on set when I was young to learn the craft of other departments. Absorbing how million dollar productions would operate and problem solve.
In 2015 I began my journey behind the camera shooting and editing brand campaigns. I’ve been editing for well over 15 years. Editing started out as a hobby in 2002 making skateboard videos with friends. That hobby has turned into a valuable tool for my career.
I have extensive experience on large sets and deal well in fast paced environments, with quick turnarounds and deadlines.
My objective with any project is to do it with taste. I can serve it up on Hermes Passiofilla or Dixie paper plates. How we get to the end result can be skeleton crew or big crew. In the end the goal is to deliver it with taste. So when the viewer takes that first visual bite they feel something more than just another video.
