Kate Carothers

I created print and digital advertisements, social media and email marketing assets and iconography in my role as Digital Designer. I prototyped user interfaces and experiences for our online users and provided direction to our photographer for social media product photography. My responsibilities included working closely with the marketing and development teams from conceptualization to implementation and ensuring all projects were on brand and adhered to the Giro voice. As a designer at Giro, I compiled completed digital assets to make available for our distributors and partners following tight deadlines.

Created promotional materials for website, emails, and partner companies. Published content to website, social media accounts, and created emails.

Created multi-page print and digital newsletters in InDesign. I worked with type, photographs, logos and was responsible for getting files setup for print.

Edited photographs, redesigned presentation materials, and created legal documents and certificates. *Worked as a Graphic Design Intern from 06/2014 – 09/2014

Created icons, promotional posters, and postcards for upcoming Best Day events.

Worked on type layout for vitamin advertisements and coupons.

Aided the instructor during painting lessons for children between the ages of seven and twelve.
