The Inertia

2014 – 2024

As a contributing editor for The Inertia, I produced a series of 30 articles exploring topics that span a range of topics, including neuroscience, nutrition, human performance, sports psychology, and product reviews. I conducted interviews with world-renowned athletes and influencers in the outdoor and fitness industries, including NYT bestselling author Steven Kotler.

As the head of video and photo production at Social Club, I led the creative vision and execution of all visual content initiatives. This included overseeing every stage of production—from concept development and location scouting to cinematography and post-production—while ensuring brand consistency and elevating client messaging across diverse campaigns.

By directing both in-house teams and external collaborators, I maintained high production standards and delivered compelling visuals that resonated with target audiences. In addition to coordinating schedules, budgets, and resources, I prioritized storytelling techniques that combined strategic thinking with high-quality aesthetics. From concept development and location scouting to on-site direction and post-production, I managed every step of the creative process—coordinating closely with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency across all marketing touchpoints. This included managing social media content calendars, crafting engaging posts, and analyzing engagement metrics to refine future campaigns. By blending strategic thinking with hands-on production expertise, I streamlined our workflows, delivered high-quality multimedia assets under tight deadlines and challenging conditions, and helped drive increased brand visibility and visitor traffic for one of North America's premier ski destinations.

In this role, I direct, film, edit, and produce commercial video content for the Mt. Bachelor social channels. From 2015 to 2017, I oversaw the "Bachelor Party" web series, which was showcased on all the major snowboard magazine websites. In 2017, the series received over 2.5 million views across all social channels on a $3,000 budget.
