Jordan Peterson is a hardworking and detail-oriented individual with education and experience in apparel technical design and merchandise product development. Jordan graduated Magna Cum Laude from FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2016 with an Associate of Art in Merchandise Product Development. While pursuing her Merchandise Product Development degree, Jordan was a nominated member of FIDM’s Premiere Merchandise Product Development Group. Jordan is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Apparel Technical Design and is expected to graduate in the fall of 2018. While pursuing her Apparel Technical Design degree, Jordan completed the GUESS Sustainability Series: Creative Patternmaking and Design where she created an original zero waste design.

During her time at FIDM, Jordan has served as a merchandising and design intern at Quiksilver, where she utilized a PLM system regularly, generated visual line plans for forecast meetings, and attended prototype reviews. Jordan has interned in the technical design department at KENDALL + KYLIE where she updated tech packs in Excel, spec’d samples, and updated WIP charts. Jordan has served as a product development intern at Hybrid Apparel where she regularly updated the fabric development WIP, created purchase orders for sample development, and requested lab dips and samples from international vendors. Jordan has also gained prominent experience as a product development intern at Nature USA where she helped manage product development from prototype request to prototype approval, created soft costing for client approval, and worked with an in-house patternmaker to create production grading. While at Nature USA, Jordan was responsible for evaluating garments to confirm compliance of specs, fit, and design intentions.
