My education in engineering blended with my design abilities create an innate understanding of taking conceptual ideas into production. For over three years, I've worked with multiple teams including engineers and creatives to produce unique and tangible products. I'm interested in working with sports and active lifestyle brands that challenge conventional ideas.

2014 – 2016

Design and development of consumer-based products ranging from household kitchen devices to watches to apparel graphics to packaging. • Lead over 20 successful projects relaying content within project team, clients, and China vendors. • Finalized 3D models of product designs and build through iterations and prototype samples of listed projects including PCB components hardware and retail packaging. • Developed products for companies including Microsoft, Amazon, Alaska Airlines, Growlerwerks, Sealshield, and Karibu Solar Power. • Resolved conflict and established clear goals by effectively managing timelines and shared overseas resources.

Associate R&D Engineer, contract

Anthony International

2014 – 2014

Contract assignment to develop zero-thermal energy refrigerator frame and engineering lab analysis. Also revised and re-designed failed refrigerator components. • Designed 21 new frame concepts with 6 insulation materials from suppliers using engineering investigation. • Built and simulated FEA of 3 insulated frame concepts, one reducing 49% of thermal energy consumption.

Product Designer, internship

Quiksilver

2013 – 2013

Apparel and footwear design internship requiring usage of 3D CAD programs, rapid prototyping, imaging software, and creativity towards surf and skate goods. • Designed 5 airbag systems with 3D CAD then operated 3D printer for prototypes and ergonomic analysis. • Created 11 patch enclosure designs with one concept prototype to protect activity sensor hardware device.

Manufacturing Project Engineer

Milgard Manufacturing Inc.

2012 – 2013

Contract engineer assigned to develop tooling and manufacturing processes of window and door structures. • Improved 25 Essence series 2D CAD and Bill of Materials of new tooling parts and equipment into PDM Vault. • Conducted shear and compressive design of experiments of 3 adhesives to validate final adhesive for production.
