The Blue Mind Movement2023 – Present
Partnered with world-renowned scientist, activist, and NY Times best-selling author, Dr. Wallace J. Nichols PhD, as the Managing Director & Lead Researcher exploring the meaningful impact Blue Mind principles have had over the last decade based on the remarkable effects of water and well-being. Combining cutting-edge neuroscience with compelling personal stories from top athletes, leading scientists, military veterans, conservation experts, and gifted artists to show how proximity to water can improve performance, increase calm, diminish anxiety, and increase professional success. Developing a platform to spread the Blue Mind Movement and make these principles common knowledge and common practice globally.

City University of New York Research Foundation CUNY Reading Corps2020 – 2022
Launched a pandemic-response initiative that provided over 24,000 free literacy development tutoring sessions based on the Science of Reading for readers in the New York City Department of Education. ● Developed pre-service training programs based on the Science of Reading and data systems to track Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics for 900+ new teachers enrolled at CUNY. ● Implemented knowledge of hi-dosage reading interventions to create a sustainable program model for key stakeholders.

Served as the sole presenter of the Reading Rescue professional development sequence, an intervention program based on the Science of Reading, to support 700+ tutors and over 1,200 struggling elementary readers in the NYCDOE. ● Launched all content for over 100+ training deck modules and on-going support materials used by partnership schools. ● Initiated and maintained data aggregation systems to analyze program intervention progress across 100+ partnerships schools throughout the five boroughs of New York City. ● Designed and modified a systemic 1:1 reading intervention program with a team of Senior Staff Developers, leading to more research-based instructional practices and assessments for national scale implementation.

Edited and accelerated 90+ educational content projects that included standard aligned learning objectives, measurable Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals, assessment items, instructional strategies, and downloadable resources to help educators differentiate curricula across hundreds of districts in 45 states. ● Collaborated with a five-person Editor Team through virtual meetings to ensure and approve content projects met organizational specifications in both structure and quality. ● Managed a team of remote content contributors and project tracking sheets as well as polished, uploaded, and published web-based content pages.
