In My Own Words
I'm an illustrator, art director, consultant and artist based in Portland, Oregon. I've worked in a variety of roles over my 20 year career that has led me to where I am now. Everything from starting a record label in 1997 working with Modest Mouse, to working in interactive and strategy at Wieden & Kennedy, packaging design at Dark Horse comics and marketing and product design at Nike SB. For the last decade I've been working as a freelance illustrator and art director along with speaking engagements and art shows. MUJI Bags 2024
https://jasonsturgill.com/pages/muji-spring-2024MUJI came back to me in 2024 after a successful launch of the 3 bag designs I created for them in 2023 and asked for another design to launch with the redesign of their NYC Flagship store. They like the designs I presented to them so much that they decided to license 2 of them. 🍎🌭🗽
Fat Tire x Dangle Supply
https://jasonsturgill.com/pages/fat-tire-x-dangle-supplyTwo great tastes that taste great together! It was an honor to be asked to provide some illustrations to represent the first collaboration between Dangle Supply and New Belgium Brewing, what started out as a t-shirt and evolved into a cool little line including a hat and stash wallet to go along with their collab titanium bong and pipe.
