In My Own Words

A Lifelong passion for the outdoors, hospitality and the snow sports industry has led me to a professional life in the Lake Tahoe Area. With eight years of experience in the ski industry, I have worked on becoming a canvas of my experiences, while absorbing all I can from my peers and colleagues. Currently I am an Employee Housing Manager and HR Assistant at Homewood Mountain Resort, and am always eager to learn about new and exciting opportunities in the outdoor recreation space.

Strengths include various POS system knowledge, advanced experience in Microsoft products, extensive knowledge of ski area operations and a hunger to grow and learn.

As a Dynamic HR professional, I assist my team in various areas including; Recruiting, Data Entry, System Implementation, benfit administration, time management as well as various basic office tasks. Some notable projects that I worked on this year were the 2018/19 Employee Handbook, The Homewood Employee Housing Handbook and Multiple system implementations through the Kronos software.

2018 – Present

As a contracted position, I live in and manage the Employee Housing property for Homewood Mountain Resort. From Tenant Move In to Tenant Move Out, I am a on-site resource both for the people living in employee housing and for the buidling itself. As this a reletivley new entity for Homewood, I assisted with creating the Handbook, as well as many other processes to help the property run smoothly.

As an Office Supervisor I managed a small team ( 3 individuals) to help ensure that we delivered a consistently great customer service experience to all of our guests. This role involved me managing daily, weekly and monthly schedules, hiring and team management for three full-time positions and creating an effiective and fun culture for my employees and guests.

Tickets Operations Coordinator

Killington Resort

2014 – 2017

As the Tickets Operations Coordinator, I worked mostly behind the scenes ensuring that our ticket and pass products functioned to their correct specifications, as well as monitored activty for fraudulent use. This was a computer heavy roll that relied heavily on product knowledge, POS knowledge and some customer service. I was regularly required to present data and findings to a senior level team.

Acted as a front line representative for a popular local commuter hotel in Rhode Island. Phone heavy position that involved using POS systems, taking reservations and general customer service skills. Left position to attend College.
