In My Own Words

James A. Norkawich has developed a deep affinity for his profession. He either practices the piano, performs publicly, or writes music practically every waking hour. He can play jazz and classical piano, and the piano universe is tremendously extensive.

He has performed pieces by some of the most well-known composers as a pianist with classical training. He is familiar with the music of Bach and Vivaldi from the Baroque Period. Additionally, he performs alongside several well-known classical musicians, such as Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven. Further, he profoundly understands several of the greatest Romantic composers, including Johannes Brahms, Claude Debussy, and Frederic Chopin. He thinks exposure to as many composers as possible is crucial for professional pianists. In this way, individuals can develop musical abilities from many ages that they can utilize to amuse others.
