Developed and maintained technical specifications for garments including measurement charts, BOMs, construction detail pages, and managed the development of said products from the initial prototype to the approval of the PPS
Scheduled and ran model fittings and made fit, pattern, and construction updates to improve the visual appearance and functionality of both Men's and Women's garments
Implemented the Backbone PLM system and continuously strived to improve its integration into our processes
Worked with a contractor to establish consistent grade rules across all product categories to help retain customers and reduce the return rate
Conducted extensive internal wash and wear testing to inform product decisions and iterate on designs
Made and maintained development WIPs for all factories to ensure development and production are on time
Monitor returns data and online reviews to ensure products are resonating with the customer and are free of recurring fit or quality issues that would need to be addressed
Worked with Ops teams to ensure correct style, color, fabric, and sizing information was on POs and communicated necessary production information to the vendors
Established processes to maximize the efficiency of the production handoff from our Development Team to the third-party company based in India that handles inline production checks
Dual and tri-sourced products at various factories to ensure best fabric and construction was chosen with costing and margins in mind
Produced high quality products within the constraints of GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards) and Fair Trade certifications
