In My Own Words
I graduated from Cal Poly Sanluis Obispo in December 2017 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Since graduating, I have been providing engineering, mechanical design and other assistance in an NPD process with a start-up company called Hitch Hotel that has created an "expandable, wheel-less trailer." With the Hitch Hotel close to completion, I am seeking a Mechanical Engineering position in the action sports or outdoor industries, preferably in Southern California.

Hitch Hotel is start-up company created by my father to design and sell an "expandable, wheel-less trailer" for vehicles with a hitch receiver. • Facilitated the product's evolution from concept to pre-production. • Collaborated with an outside-hire mechanical engineer to design and develop a complete 3D model and technical drawings in Solidworks. • Controlled the selection and sourcing of the product's components. • Developed a detailed, comprehensive Bill of Materials. • Established relationships with numerous vendors and communicated with each to collect component information and negotiate pricing. • Travelled internationally to discuss producing components with the product in China.
