In My Own Words

I have a long background in skateboarding - had a little shop in the back of my mom's pet store in the 90s, worked in a shop in my early 20s, did sales for Deluxe, and worked on brand marketing and as the team manager for adidas skateboarding. I've also helped build skateparks, organized local events, advocate for skateparks, and volunteer for Skate Like A Girl. I've been snowboarding since the early 90s (remember when you just drilled your bindings into your board?!). And these days I'm an avid cyclist. It's a great way to get around town and keep my legs working for other fun activities.

With work, I've done sales and marketing, dialed in some great customer service while working behind a bar, and I've done the freelance hustle with photography. I know my sweet spot for a new position will be heavy on people interactions- customer service, community building, networking, etc.. I'm organized, love staying busy, and thrive in a dynamic work environment where things might not be the same every day. Maybe this sounds like a good fit?
