Gabriel Copeland

My name is Gabe Copeland. I am a Director of Photography and a Union Camera Operator. I have 30 years of Feature Film, Television, Commercial, Documentary, Live Broadcast and Production experience. I have shot on nearly every type of Camera System available. Including IMAX 65mm film, Super 35mm film, 16mm film, Full Frame Digital 8K-2K sensors, HD1080 24P video, small digital prosumer cameras, GoPros, Nikon/Canon R/5D/7D DSLR still cameras, Pentax/Nikon/Canon 35 mm still cameras and everything in between. I also light my own scenes and run a camera and lighting set crew. I work with Directors, Production Designers, Key Grips, Gaffers, Hair and Makeup, Costumers and other Production departments. I have shot on big budget feature films, independent small budget Feature Films, Commercials, Documentaries, Docuality style International adventure tv shows, Big studio stage reality competition shows, Game shows, Crime dramas, scripted/unscripted, Live Sports Broadcast, large Music Events and everything in between those as well. I truly love and enjoy covering projects, managing my crew, developing the look and physically lighting and shooting a project as directed by the Director and/or Supervising Producers to make the most of any project. I also Direct or Produce. I have done this professionally on every continent on earth, (including Antarctica) and in 85 different counties. I speak Spanish as a second language and this has been very useful in many of these countries for my camera crew and for the production and producers themselves. I have many artist, managerial and lifelong talents that I could do professionally, but cinematography is my artistic expression of choice. I truly love it, I work hard, I’m passionate, I work well with Directors, I'm fun to work with and I believe that I am an excellent asset to any project. Thank you for your time and consideration.
