Designer and photographer with over 8 years of design experience.

Throughout the years I have worked with multiple brands and major retailers to integrate and provide innovative design concepts and solutions to increase brand awareness and positive design trajectory. Inspired by California culture, art and photography I have also been nominated as an official Nikon 100 photographer for my work in landscape and nightscape photography.

Aug 2022 — Now

Graphic Designer and Production Coordinator · Tillys

Conceptualize and design trend-forward graphics for apparel, including t-shirts and fleece, aligned with the Tillys customer aesthetic and brand DNA. • Played an integral role in launching the Print-on-Demand (POD) program, increasing in- house sales to consistently contribute 50-70% of sales, as reflected in weekly reports. • Consistently produce in-house designs that ranked among the top sellers in sales reports. • Research and analyze trends, sales data, and pop culture moments to create graphics that resonate with the target audience. • Collaborate with departments, including Buying, Merchandising, and Vendor Direct, to align designs with sales, seasonality, and brand strategy. • Prepare print-ready artwork files, ensuring accuracy in sizing, placement, and printer settings. • Manage licensing approval processes, ensuring timely submissions and adherence to brand guidelines and revision requests. • Coordinate production workflows, troubleshoot samples, and optimizing production settings for quality. • Maintain organized project libraries by category and concept for streamlined access and review.

Designer · Alone Again Studio

A.A.S. is a design and marketing studio providing support to clients in need of design and marketing solutions while maintaining and creating for in-house brand, La Familia. • Create, maintain and update tech packs, CADs and line sheets. • Organize project and asset libraries. • Research market trends to create inspiration and mood boards for current and upcoming seasons. • Communicate with domestic and overseas production teams throughout all stages of development and production. • Design graphics for printables, cut & sew, social and web. • Photography, post processing, retouching and edits. • Collaborate with all department teams and leaders to create campaigns for La Familia, Rue21, Asphalt, Tilly’s, Zumiez, Fight Camp and more. • Responsible for creating and developing multiple best-selling styles in screens and embroidery that elevated us to being the top vendor in several categories including specialty tops, key items and junior graphics. • Travel to other company’s offices to collaborate and present design and marketing plans with buyers and other department heads.

Designer · AYC Brand Group

• Collaborate with all teams to research trends and build theme and concept boards for all seasonal collections. • Created cut and sew garments, tech packs, embroidery and graphics for in house brands as well SMU and private label for retailers including Tilly’s (Blue Crown/RSQ, Zumiez, PacSun, San Onofre Surf co., ROSS and Karmaloop. • Assist in product and lifestyle photos for web and social media. • Responsible for implementing La Familia SMU screen hoodies program at Tilly’s which resulted in the brand being a top seller in all Tilly’s chains. • Organized project assets and libraries to improve organization and optimize workflow.

Sep 2015 — Feb 2016

Jr. Apparel Designer · Sole Technology, INC.

• Work under direction of other designers, developers and design director. • Completed SMU requests for major companies and vendors such as Tilly's, Zumiez, LIDS, etc. • Creative freedom to design accessories and head wear. This includes sketches in Illustrator, colorways, pitch sheets, construction details, trims and tech pages. • Assisting with apparel design for all brands including etnies, Emerica, eS and Altamont. • Quickly became familiarized with EPLM/NGC (in house system) to upload tech packs and make corrections to existing tech packs. • Assisted in the effort of rebranding Altamont Apparel. Helped create new trims and sock headers that will be used in the Spring 2017 collection. • Help with uploading logos and graphics for placement and resizing on all categories of garments. • Created entire Baja Collection for Emerica, which consisted of Baja SS woven, Baja straw hat and Baja poncho. • Responsible for ensuring trims and logos were accurate in size, spelling and placement

Volcom - Mens' Development and Design Intern - Fall 2014 · Volcom

• Hands on industry experience. • Worked closely with designers/developers in knits/wovens, denim, fleece/walk-shorts, boardshorts/surfwear and youth. • Gained knowledge of in-house systems such as Excel, Full-Circle and PLM. Used these systems to print specs, upload garment pictures, update booking reports, input care label codes, adjust BOM's and verify inventory. • Attended garment fittings of all stages of protype to sealing sample to see what changes need to be made. • Assisted in making changes to flats in Adobe Illustrator. • Meticulously reviewed samples in order updated tech packs. • Organized clothing into designer's racks by season and style. • Organized swatches, strike offs and pitch sheets in file boxes and on server. • Updated/proofed catalogs with purchase orders, overseas shipping ETA/ETD, colorways, sizes fabric contents and wholesale/MSRP. • Completely reorganized storage closet into organized, manageable sections
