Responsibilities included: maintaining EDI invoicing (810) and CPSIA General Conformity of Certificates, transmitting ASN (856) and tracking information, obtaining and transmitting bill of lading (BOL), inspecting orders and providing authorization for compliance with special shipping instructions, and assisting with GS1 barcode label specs and MPZ100 updating.
Educated warehouse team and chain managers on compliance regulations and how to be proactive in maintaining compliance in an evolving EDI system. This included force allocating orders before pick tickets were created and updating the team on quantities, ensuring WIP deliveries, tracking delivery/ship windows in conjunction with transit times, working with customer service on chargeback issues regarding Amazon, and responding to all requests within the same day.
