Designer · Sears Holdings Corporation
Maintain seasonal development from concept to market ready product for Toddler Boy category for Kmart & Sears Brands. • Provide inspiration, trend research, sketches, and development sheets to IBO branches, Sourcing, Tech, CAD and Fabric R&D. • Create cohesive and directional seasonal assortments & color palettes based on high level trends and present to Senior VP and Director. • Align with respected Buyer and Merchants on seasonal needslist, and design within product price-line (good, better, and best). • Communicate day-to-day with overseas vendors in regards to approvals & fit comments and ensure on-time deliveries and provide quick design solutions. • Track and maintain samples, strike-offs, knit downs, and protos.

Associate Designer · Sears Holdings Corporation
•Participates in conceptual development of product lines for all Women's & Girls Activewear, and multiple women's brands for Outerwear. •Maintains development of seasonal Product Decks to share with overseas vendors and IBO offices. •Work cross-functionally with merchants/buyers/ & CAD team to maintain seasonal deadlines and product execution. •Direct CAD team on print direction and application on certain fabrications. •Develop technique and trim inspiration pages to share with Sourcing and Product development teams. •Communicate day-to-day with overseas vendors with regard to approvals, comments, and samples. •Collaborate with IBO and Sourcing to ensure sample delivery dates are met and quality standards are sufficient. •Regularly update the Sample Tracker, Product Deck and PLM to ensure consistency across alI platforms. •Create Print & Trend board presentations to present to the Sr. Womens Director, President and VP of Merchandising for line review meetings. •Support other design categories, i.e. Sleepwear/Workwear by creating Print Stories and color palettes.

Performed as a dual member to the Art & Concept team in seasonal design kick-off. • Worked directly with Senior Manager of Print & Textile in support of Yoga and Train categories. • Created original art & implemented innovative techniques into the seasonal collections from Spring 2018- Holiday 2018, which are now within the best sellers. • Provided market & runway trend research to the Concept team for high level executive review and cross-functional guidebook. • Created original art, such as all-over, engineered, novelty, yarn-dye and laser cut. • Developed mill sheets and specs to send out to mills and vendors. • Corresponded with overseas vendors in regards to approvals. • Reviewed submitted strike-offs, knit downs, and photo samples. • Worked cross-functionally with design and merchants to align on style/product limitations & price point. • Demonstrated knowledge of latest active wear prints and technique innovation. • Maintained print archives and library.

Design original packaging and branding for private label jewelry collections and photograph online merchandise to be tailored to each client’s specification, which would be showcased in Francesca’s, Target, Walmart, Sears, and Kohl’s. • Created logo and branding material for original carding, packaging and gifting. • Photographed, in-studio, all jewelry. • Edited, recolored, and cleaned all RAW images. • Developed planograms, visual store front displays, labels, sign age and logos. • Developed trend boards based on concept inspiration.

Provided enrichment to students in the program “Stitch-It Fashion”, with necessary experience in sewing and production. Assisted in students’ development in hand stitching, machine sewing, pattern making, and embroidery. Tactically assigned student projects based on individual levels and strengths. Demonstrated both assertiveness and compassion, while communicating with all students. Provided feedback to parents & students on their skills, growth, and areas in need of improvement. • Acted as Program Manager for the Stitch-It Fashion Curriculum. • Proficiently taught at multiple schools in the areas of DC and MD.

RTW Color & Print Intern · DVF
Supported the Color Manager in development of seasonal Master Palette and implementation color development from sample yardage to bulk production. Provided technical skills to print team in order to keep on top of deadlines and ensure prints were cleaned, recolored, and executable per fabrication. • Created, cleaned, edited, and recolored prints, Jacquards, and Dobbie’s for RTW collections. • Reviewed and commented on submitted lab dips. • Created pitchsheets to send to overseas vendors. • Color matched digitally to create digital color palettes. • Developed physical color palettes to provide to the design team, merch team, graphic team, and licensee team. • Ordered color standards from various color providers. • Communicated directly with domestic dye labs. • Archived all records of approval for lab dips, printed strike-offs, and color standards. • Trained other interns within the Color & Print department. • Offered 6-month term, full-time employment as a Color and Print Assistant.
